To all of our couples, followers and fans,
Today, June 24th, is a momentous day for us here at GayDestinationWeddings.com. After months of planning, researching, Pinterest’ing, writing, and designing, we have finally created the first ever same-sex destination wedding digital magazine, Voyage. And this isn’t just any publication–well at least not to us. It’s the only that we know of that exclusively serves the LGBT community members planning a wedding or getaway abroad.
Why did we feel the need to create Voyage? Well, to be honest, like many of our couples we were frustrated by the lack of creative, colorful and cool wedding inspiration out there. So we thought that just maybe, with the help of our GayDestinationWeddings.com couples and marketing team, we might be able to change that.
We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this inaugural issue. And by that, I mean cute save-the-dates, rainbow wedding cakes, and travel inspiration. It’s always slightly scary venturing into the unknown, but it’s so long overdue. In short, though this magazine will certainly grow and evolve with time, we couldn’t be prouder to share this first issue with you and offer same-sex couples wedding inspiration that speaks to them.
